Moonrise Tea Garden is located on the slopes above Hilo Town, on the Hamakua side of the river, almost 4 miles up Kaiwiki Road

From Hilo/Puna direction
Please remember we are a family-run working farm so please call first.  Take bayfront Highway out of town towards Hamakua.  After crossing the singing bridge, take the first possible left (Wainaku).  Once you cross Wainaku the road becomes Kaiwiki Road.  Wind your way up almost 4 miles.  You will pass a small, quaint church on the right, followed by a small park on the left.  As soon as you have passed the one lane road sign take the first driveway on your left.

From Hamakua direction
Please remember we are a family-run working farm so please call first.  Driving on the Hamakua coast highway, just before you reach Hilo town, take the right turn marked Wainaku.  Once you cross Wainaku the road becomes Kaiwiki Road.  Wind your way up almost 4 miles.  You will pass a small, quaint church on the right, followed by a small park on the left.  As soon as you have passed the one lane road sign take the first driveway on your left.
