Hawai`i Grown Teas

`Ahinahina (Silversword) White Needle Tea

This delicate Hawai`i Grown white needle tea is named for `Ahinahina, the rare & endangered silversword which grows high on the slopes of Mauna Kea, the dormant volcano on which this tea is grown. Flavor notes include honey and cake batter.

Poliahu Snow Goddess White Tea

This delicate Hawai'i Grown white tea is named for Poliahu, goddess of snow, residing on Mauna Kea where snow is often visible in the winter. Poliahu is remembered as the most beautiful goddess of Hawai`i. Like Poliahu this white tea is most beautiful unfolding in a glass tea pot. It has a flavor as delicate as snow melting in the tropical sun.  A very delicate white tea which smells and tastes of strawberries with a hint of citrus.

Lilinoe Mist Goddess Green Tea

This Hawai`i grown green tea is named after the Goddess of Mists, Lilinoe.  This mysterious Goddess lives high on Mauna Kea, the volcanic mountain on which this tea is grown.  She makes herself visible only when she desires, dancing around the steep rocky slopes and through the Mamane trees, where the Palila Honeycreeper, an elusive endangered bird nests.  This green tea, like her namesake, is slightly cloudy, similar to a high quality gyokuro.  An exquisite green cup with just a hint of cloudiness, and a soft, almost buttery mouth feel.

Kaiwiki Oolong Tea

This Hawai`i tea is grown in the Ahupua`a of Kaiwiki. Ahupua`a, divisions of land from sea to mountain, are a system of land management set up in ancient times to provide sustainability for all of Hawai`i's people. A rich, warm cup, this Hawai`i grown medium to dark oolong tea is warm and inviting, like cookies fresh from the oven, truly a taste of Aloha. Brew at least three times for great value.

Haumea Earth Goddess Black Tea

This rich Hawai`i grown black tea is named for Haumea, Hawaiian Earth Goddess. This tea is rich like the volcanic earth in which it grows. The flavor starts out with the taste of honey, followed by rich notes of dark chocolate and cake.
